Introduction
Brawl Ball is similar to rocket league, except in a 3v3 situation and with brawlers instead of vehicles. The objective is to score 2 goals before the enemy team within the time frame of the match. If the match is a draw after the time ends, it progresses into a 1 minute Overtime where all obstacles are destroyed.

The main techniques when playing include moving with the ball, passing, and shooting. When in control of the ball you cannot proceed to damage another opponent, and only have the option of shooting or passing. This makes for a whole new layer of strategy and well-coordinated teamwork.
Brawler Rankings
5. Spike

Coming in at number 5 is Spike brawl stars legendary brawler. His crowd control ability is what mainly puts him this high on the rankings, due to the massive damage he can dish out. Spike’s spiked projectiles can force the opponents back into their goal area, while also charging up his Super. Due to the nature of soccer, Brawl Ball is played mostly in close quarters, especially when someone has the ball and is pushing forward. This is where Spike shines with his Super, slowing down the entire enemy team and setting up a perfect combo with AoE brawlers. Hiding behind a wall and dealing damage to the opposing team in the center is what makes Spike such a good candidate for Brawl Ball.
4. Barley

Barley is known for one thing, which is his splash and huge area damage. The amount of ground Barley can cover is immensely useful in this game mode, where controlling the other team is crucial. In my opinion, both Barley and Spike serve the same purpose in Brawl Ball, but Barley performs better. His ability to shoot over walls is what makes him a better option than Spike, especially since the entire map is littered with boxes and walls. Not only this, but Barley’s Super is life-threatening, and can quickly turn the tides of the match. All your team needs is a couple of seconds when the enemy brawlers are re-spawning to score a goal. In addition, Barley paired with a Brawler such as El Primo can make for a dangerous threat, and can easily clear a path down the center for your teammates to score a goal.
3. Mortis

Just ahead of Barley is Mortis, an epic Brawler. He is the fastest brawler in the game, and can quickly traverse from one side of the field to the other. If Mortis finds an opening, there’s no stopping him because the enemy team can’t keep up. In a 1v1 situation, Mortis can kick the ball forward, giving the enemies possession of the ball, only to dash through them and dish out good damage. In an attempt to counter him, the enemy brawler will try and damage Mortis, only to realize that he is passing the ball back to him. This lets Mortis gain control of the ball again and slip past enemy lines. Once he has his eyes set on the goal, there’s nothing you can do.
2. El Primo

Clocking in at number 2 is the underrated El Primo. He simply excels in this game mode, due to the close quarter match-ups and his extremely high health and damage. In just a few seconds El Primo could wipe out the entire enemy team, allowing your team to score. Not only this, but his Super is extremely useful when it comes to destroying all the annoying obstacles in between you can the goal. Additionally, El Primo is a tank, meaning he can act as the ball carrier and slowly push towards the enemy goal. When near enemy brawlers, Primo can push the ball forward, finish off the opposing brawler, and continue on his way to the goal.
1. Bull

Although the other 4 Brawlers do perform well in Brawl Ball, Bull is an absolute beast. For one, his Super can help him quickly get from one point to another, where that means defending your goal or smashing into the opponent’s one. He can also deal massive damage in tight areas, just like Primo, and has the health of a tank. However, what makes him a better option than El Primo is his bigger range and ability to destroy obstacles with ease. Hiding in the bush is also a great tactic, as you can catch the opponents off guard and quickly take possession of the ball. Bull brawl stars seem like he was made just for this mode, as he perfectly fits the requirements for a fantastic Brawl Ball Brawler.
Alternatives
If for some reason you don’t have the Brawlers or simply don’t want to use them, some solid candidates would include Tara because of her piercing abilities and Super, and Shelly because of her high damage, good range, decent health, and ability to destroy obstacles and push back enemies.
