Spike may still be on top but new game updates continue to tilt the list. All legendary Brawl Stars Brawlers have their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to their Supers and Star Powers.
But who is the best legendary Brawl Stars Brawler, in my opinion? Let’s discuss.
The legendary Brawl Stars Brawler list
This list is in alphabetical order, but click the link for more information see more about each legendary brawler.
Brawl Stars Brawler Ranking
Below is a snapshot of each legendary brawler in alphabetical order.
You will note that I’ve provided a short review according to their strengths, weaknesses, and survival on the Brawler battlefield.
Further down is a Tiermaker ranking from the worst legendary Brawler to the best legendary Brawler goes:
Our newest legendary member to join the Brawlers is the easiest to learn but isn’t the best player to play.
Amber Brawl Stars attacks the enemy Brawlers using a continuous torrent of fire that pierces through them.
She has a pretty cool Super, where she flings a flask full of liquid fire near her enemies and sets them on fire.
Amber Brawl Stars is easy to learn due to her straightforward firepower. However, compared to other legendary Brawl Stars Characters, she isn’t as good as them.
This is because her power works better in a long-range game and provides high damage output, but in a one-on-one close-range game, she’s easier to kill off.
I have to admit; the Crow is one of the most annoying Brawl Stars Characters. His poisonous daggers are the most useful when it comes to defeating his enemies.
He’s pretty good in wider maps, but he’s not that great in close maps.
He’s a better player in long range games because he has fairly low health, but he defeats his enemies by throwing long-distance poisonous daggers at them.
Thus, reducing the rate of healing, and making it easier to kill them. He makes a great asset to his teammates during a heist or a siege battle.
In my opinion, Leon can be easy to learn. As time goes on, people choose better Brawlers to play and learn how to defeat Leon effortlessly.
Leon is incredible in some game modes like showdown, duo showdown, and Lonestar, but he struggles a lot when it comes to 3v3 game modes.
He’s not as versatile as he used to be, bringing him to the third spot in my legendary Brawl Stars Tier List. But he is still one of the best Brawlers to play in many game modes.
One of my favorite legendary Brawl Stars Characters is Spike. He’s harder to unlock just like all legendary characters are.
However, once you unlock Spike, you can use him in all game modes, and he’ll remain the best choice.
He might have a low health meter, but he’s a master at dealing with enemies.
He shoots spikes that cause a lot of damage to his enemies and his super; the thorny projectile slows his enemies’ healing abilities and makes it easy to kill.
One of the best Brawlers there is! Sandy tops my legendary Brawl Stars Tier List because of her amazing abilities on the battlefield.
Her Star Power, the sand storm, causes her enemies to damage 100 health per second.
She is the best Brawler to use in showdown game modes, and in other long-range modes, she constantly weakens her enemies in order to slow them down and defeat them!
Which legendary brawl stars brawler can help you be the last one standing in this intense multiplayer battle royale game?
With the obvious objective of the game to pit players against each other in an all out brawl, you are not trying to make friends with opponents.
The focus is on outmaneuvering every brawler’s powerful super abilities.
You will need to utilize all of your skills and strategies when fighting other legendary brawlers.
No matter what mode you’re playing, the goal is to come out victorious. That’s why you need to know which brawler is the best in each situation.
No battle royale agreement
In trying to find the best in any battle royale game, the challenge is if you ask 100 players, you will get 100 answers. There are a few legendary Brawl Stars brawlers that stand out among the rest.
In one poll that was released before Meg was introduced, Amber received almost 30% of the votes from players when asked who was the best battle royale brawler.
The results were followed up with Crow, Leon, Sandy, then Spike.
Since we don’t know how the poll was created, or if players were allowed to vote more than once for their favorite legendary battle royale brawlers, it’s difficult to put too much weight on the results.
It is very surprising but spike would be considered the worst brawler out of all legendary brawlers.
What do some of the experts say?
We did some digging to find additional information on where the legendaries might rank with their powerful super abilities.
We uncovered a few areas where there is consensus on the best brawlers:
- Spike is a great brawler for Showdown and Gem Grab. He is known for his high damage and can shoot exploding projectiles and thorny grenades.
His fertilize and curveball star powers make him unique. Spike’s main drawback is his low health and slow speed.
- Sandy is a great brawler for all modes. She has high damage and speed, and her main drawback is her lack of a special ability.
Her healing winds and rude sands star powers let her whip up and manipulate sandstorms in a moments notice.
- Crow is a sniper brawler that is great in Gem Grab and Showdown. He has high damage and can shoot through walls.
Crow’s extra toxic and carrion crow star powers let him sap the strength and deal more damage to enemies. His main drawback is his low health and slow speed.
- Leon is a tank brawler that is great in Brawl Ball and Showdown. Leon’s Invisiheal and smoke trails star powers give him a big lift in movement and speed.
He has high health and damage. His main drawback is his slow speed.
- Meg has force field and heavy metal star powers that make her an agile brawler. She has the ability to heal herself and her teammates.
Her main drawback is her low health in her initial form and her low damage. She can deal high damage in her Mecha form.
- Amber is a well-rounded brawler that is great in all modes. Her wild flame fuel puddles and Scorchin’ Siphon firebreathing give her awesome star powers.
She has good damage, health, and speed. Her main drawback is her lack of a special ability.

Legendary brawlers and Super Rare brawlers:
There is a big difference between super rare brawlers and legendary brawlers in Brawl Stars.
Super rare brawlers are usually stronger than legendary brawlers. For example, super rare brawlers usually have more health and better abilities than legendary brawlers.
However, legendary brawlers sometimes have unique passives or abilities that make them very powerful.
Therefore, it is hard to say which type of brawler is better overall. It depends on the specific brawler and the situation.
Super rare Brawlers are the hardest to obtain in Brawl Stars.
They are not available through regular means and can only be obtained through special events or offers. As such, they are highly coveted by many players.
We’ve devoted several posts dedicated to the Tier List, so we are not going in-depth here but it is important to make a note of the shifts in tier lists as new brawlers are introduced.
Check out our most comprehensive Tier List post.
The tier list is a ranking system that assigns certain importance or value to Brawlers based on their individual strengths and weaknesses. The higher up a Brawler is on the tier list, the better they are considered to be overall.
Super rare Brawlers tend to be some of the strongest Brawlers in the game and are often placed near the top of tier lists.
Super rare brawlers are the most powerful and versatile characters in the game, due to their powerful abilities and high stats.
If you’re looking to build a strong team, be sure to include some super rare brawlers on your team!
