Tara Brawl Stars Basics
Basic Attack: Tarot Cards
First of all, let’s talk about her basic attack.
Tara throws 3 cards at once in a medium range. Each card deals 400-550 damage based on Tara level. Her cards can pierce the targets.
Not like Poco, her cards do not hit all of the targets in the cone. The enemies will actually get hit by the cards.
Her reload speed is 2s, which is pretty similar to most other Brawlers.
Super: Gravity
Using the Super, she throws a black hole that pulls everything nearby to the center of it, getting 800-110 damage based on Tara level.
She can throw the Super over walls at a moderate speed.
The explosion caused by the Super can destroy obstacles and walls. However the radius is pretty small so in most cases you do not want to use it to break walls.

Gem Grab for Tara Brawl Stars
At the beginning, you want to do chip damage to the enemies first. This is always the best option for you.
Your main goal here is to get your Super ready as soon as possible, which requires you to hit the enemies with 17 cards.
You want to pay attention to your attack range to get the best extent.
A lot of people say that it’s a must to attack the opponents from a close range because Tara has a great burst damage. It is true, but you also need to remember that she is not a close range brawler and her HP/Speed are not ideal to be used as a close range Brawler.
You only want to use her to do burst damage when you are about to kill a low HP enemy, or when you are in danger.
Do not try to fight any melee or shortrange Brawler when they have more than 4,000 HP, unless they are being pulled by your Super.
Chipping the enemies and building up the Super are all things you need to do while using Tara!
In Gem Grab mode, you shouldn’t be the Gem Grab in most cases.
Once you have had the Super, you will have 2 options:
- You and your teammates attacks the enemies from different directions, corral them into a position where you can use your Super to catch most of them. You should have at least 2 attacks available before using the Super.
You will be able to deal up to 5000 damage If you do this accurately, which is enough to take out most Brawlers in game, except the very tanky ones.
This works perfectly with Brawlers that have AoE skills like Barley, Dynamike, Frank etc. - Play the game sneaky and catch your opponents off guard. The enemies will you if they do not pay enough attention. Your teammates will follow up and cover you after you throw the Super.
This strategy is not really good at higher ranks because people always check the bushes and stay aware of you.
Depending on how well you place your Super, you could get another Super ready immediately after the using it.
If you have another Super ready immediately, it’s best to hide in the bush because they have to respawn and do not know where you are hiding after that.
Tips for Brawl Ball
Having your Super at the beginning of a round is extremely helpful. It can help you catch at least 2 of the enemies with ease during the face off.
If you do not have your Super ready, fall back a little bit and chip the enemies, building up your Super and then repeat the cycle.
It is not recommended to play aggressively or to ambush the enemies without Super.
Tara is one of the strongest, if not the best, Brawlers to play in Brawl Ball. And you should play her in Brawl Ball similarly to Gem Grab.
However, If you think that you can get the goal without using your Super, or if the opponent is about to make a goal, save your Super!
It’s best to use the Super during the face off. It will be incredibly effective and usually gives your team an easy goal. And you will usually have another Super ready right after that.
Try to wait a few seconds before actually using your Super because experienced players always want to bait your Super out during the face off.
Synergy
It is pretty hard to group Tara with other Brawlers as she needs Brawlers that can compliment her and deal with her counters.
Best Teammates for Tara
Frank: He has great AoE damage and his Super pairs very well with the Gravity. With a great HP pool, he can protect her.
Spike,
Brock,
Barley,
Dynamike – Deadly AoE skills
Penny – Basic attack will hit all of the enemies in the Gravity with insanely high damage. The Mortar also hits all enemies in the Gravity.
Good Teammates for Tara
Poco – Large cone damage hitting all targets.
Jessie – Basic attack will hit all enemies in the Gravity.
El Primo – Dealing great amount of damage to the enemies in the Gravity. He can get to the Gravity from far away by using the Super.
No No Enemies
Bull,
El Primo: They have more DPS and enough HP to survive your 9 cards and Gravity. They are faster than you.
Piper: She can attack you from far away and can escape your Gravity with her Super.
Nita – Fast attack, high HP.
Poco – He can heal up teammates to counter your Gravity.
Pam – Her Healing Station can clump up the teammates, which is good for you to use your Super, but it also helps healing her teammates to counter your Super. So always destroy her Super first.
TL;DR:
- Chip the enemies from far away, slowly build up your Super.
- Push the enemies into places where you can use your Super to catch them.
- Have at least 2 attacks ready before using the Super.
- Get close to them to deal more damage when they are in the Gravity.
- Coordinate with teammates to have a much more effective Super.
- Watch out for heavy opponents that can survive your Super and Attacks.
