Piper is one of the most fun brawlers to play with especially with her ambush star power and sniping capabilities.

![]() Star Power: Ambush
Piper’s attack deals +800 extra damage (at max range) when she’s hidden in a bush.
When Piper hits an enemy with her attack, she reloads 0.3 ammo instantly. |
Piper is an epic brawler who is arguably the best long-ranged character in the game. She’s a bitter sweet sniper who does more damage the farther she is from her target using her Gunbrella. Her super is a perfect escape where she drops three grenades as she flies away from her enemies using her Gunbrella to fly away from a safer position. Her basic stats are given below:
- Her basic health is 2400. Cumbersome. What do you expect from a sniper?
- At maximum range, her base damage is 1520. Triple tapping someone will most likely get you a kill.
- Her super has 4 grenades which deal 900 damage each. That totals to 3600 damage. But most of the time, only one or maybe two grenades will hit. It has a pushback which makes taking the killing shot easier.
- She has the second-longest range in the game after spikes curveball.
- She reloads 1 shot every 2.5 seconds.
STRATEGY
Piper is obviously a sniper. She excels at long range and also in maps with very open grounds. Her primary objective is to pick off and kill support brawlers. Colts, Ricos, other Pipers, etc are her primary targets as they usually stay back. The longer her distance from the target, the more damage she deals with. So try and stay away from harms way.
Piper can be overwhelmed and defeated easily if she is unprotected. Piper is most effective when she is covered by other Brawlers on her team. If enemies do get too close, it may be a good idea to use Piper’s Super to escape if the Super is charged. You need to aim too because otherwise, you land in the place from where you jumped.
- Try to predict your target’s movement when firing. Piper’s shots are narrow, so you will need to aim ahead of your targets if they are moving so that they do not move out of the way of the shot.
- Piper has a very defensive Super since it only affects the area right near her, but it can also be used offensively in a riskier play. Piper can rush the enemy team, drop the grenades, and fly away.
- Piper’s Super can be used to shape the map to your advantage, destroying walls which your opponents would otherwise be hiding behind.
- Charge up Piper’s Super as a priority, as there are Brawlers that can dash right in such as Darryl and Mortis. Her Super is highly needed for escaping.
- Think carefully when it comes to the position of Piper’s landing after her Super. Since it takes a long time for her to land, it is easy for the enemy to predict where she will. Try going to places that the enemy will take a long time to reach such as across water regions or behind walls.
- Never auto-aim with Piper as it is very likely to miss unless you are attacking heist safes at a safe distance, etc.
Gem Grab: 2.5/5
While she can be an amazing back end support, she still isn’t quite good on most maps. Simply put, most of the Gem Grab maps have too much cover. She will constantly be weaving in and out of cover to shoot other brawlers but most of the time she will hit the cover instead of the enemy.
Also, since she is a ranged character, she can’t go near the gem box to grab gems unless the entire enemy team is dead.
She’s good in Gem Grab but only when she has a good team to back her up.
Bounty: 4.5/5
Her best game mode. Everyone in this game mode has to stay back or he risks giving the enemy team the lead. Perfect for a sniper. Perfect for Piper. She’s good in almost all the maps except Snake Prairie which is basically just bushes so she is at a severe disadvantage. Other than that, she’s an excellent pick in all the other maps.
Heist: 1.5/5
She’s basically only good on Bandit Stash and Safe Zone if and ONLY IF she can destroy the obstacles between her and the obstacles using her super. IF she can destroy them she can easily get shots on the safe. Other than that, she’s pretty hard to play on every map and she will usually get killed a lot.
Brawl Ball: 0.1/5
I can’t give this a 0/5 because some dude has once won playing as Piper on BB. Let me explain why she sucks so much on here.
Brawl Ball is a game mode where you have to get the ball in your opponent’s goal which is near their spawn. Most of the time, one person carries the ball while the others defend him. The ball carrier will be the main priority of both teams.
So, Piper is a long-ranged brawler who deals more damage the farther she is from her targets. See what I’m getting at here? The main objective is to get to the other team’s goal which is at their spawn. Most of the time, you will be forced to be at close range which renders her almost useless. The most she can do is support her teammates when they have the ball, but even that most likely won’t happen because of the amount of cover there is in the maps. The only thing she can do that is actually useful is using her super to knock all enemies from the ball.
Final words, DON’T USE HER IN HERE.
Showdown: 1/5
None of the current maps in rotation except a very few are long-range natured. Double trouble where she used to terrorize people has been removed and mostly all the maps right now have medium to a lot of bushes. She is not the best for the showdown. But there’s still Dark Passage with energy drink where she can be the best brawler in the mode.
She really needs some serious dodging skills to master or else sniping alone won’t help you
Robo Rumble: 0/5
She’s good till the second boss but then she just can’t deal enough damage in time. Her lack of AOE or piercing really holds her back. Ok, let’s just be practical, the most useless brawlers in Robo Rumble.
Boss Fight: 0.5/5
Basically the worst brawler to play as the boss. She can deal a decent amount of damage as one of the attackers but she’ll most likely get picked off as the boss.
The maximum time you can get with her is usually 2 mins.
Matchups
Shelly: Many matchups are gonna be hard. This is one of them. If she gets in range of even poking you, then it’s gonna be very hard to get out. Unless you have your super ready, it’s almost gonna be RIP for you. Don’t worry though. Keep out of her range and keep hitting her from a long-range.
Colt: Dodge and weave. Unlike you, Colt fires many bullet per bullet. Yeah. His super can clear out a lot of cover which is better and worse for both of you. You do have more range than him though so if you stand far away from him then he can’t reach you.
Nita: If she gets in range she will most likely kill you. Her bear is probably the most annoying thing in the game as Piper. Never get in her range. If she starts hitting you, immediately super away to a safe spot. She can’t destroy any cover so that’s good.
Dynamike: A very hard matchup since he’s most of the times gonna bear hiding behind cover. Your only hope is to predict when he’s gonna come out from cover and then shoot. Other than that, the odds are stacked against you. Cover your teammates who are trying to assassinate him.
El Primo: One of the easier matchups. Just don’t let him into your range. He’ll most likely go after one of your teammates and it’s the perfect time to triple-tap him. If he comes after you, lead him to your teammates or super away.
Bull: One of the easier matchups. Just don’t let him into your range. He’ll most likely go after one of your teammates and it’s the perfect time to triple-tap him. If he comes after you, lead him to your teammates or super away.
Brock: He is basically you with more damage. He has more range than you but his attack does travel slower so it is better to have a duel with him. Dodge and weave and always be unpredictable.
Barley: A very hard matchup since he’s most of the times gonna bear hiding behind cover. Your only hope is to predict when he’s gonna come out from cover and then shoot. Other than that, the odds are stacked against you. Cover your teammates who are trying to assassinate him.
Jessie: She is quite easy to deal with. See where she throws her turret. If it’s in a bush without cover, then you can safely snipe it from far away. Her attack is also pretty slow. So, she’s pretty easy to kill.
Ricochet: Basically Colt with bouncy bullets. Don’t get into tight corners. That’s about it.
Poco: His attack range is super broken, it’s so long and wide (that’s what she said). Stay away from him no matter what happens. It’s best to leave him alone and snipe him from a long-range. A very long range.
Bo: If you step on his mines, just super away. If you get hit by one of them then you’re gonna get hit by another one and you’ll get killed. His attacks are easy to dodge so you don’t have to worry much.
Daryll: One of the easier matchups. Just don’t let him into your range. He’ll most likely go after one of your teammates and it’s the perfect time to triple-tap him. If he comes after you, lead him to your teammates or super away.
Piper: The ol’ mirror matchup. This is all about skill. Don’t get cocky and go out in the open. Stay behind cover or just let one of your teammates assassinate her if she’s too much of a problem ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Pam: You’ll have to stay light on your feet and constantly flank her team and destroy her healing turrets. Also, you can build your super with whoever is staying on the healing station.
Mortis: It’s a lost cause. At long range, he can just dodge your attacks with his attacks. At close range, you deal almost no damage. It’s best to let one of your tanks deal with him.
Tara: Stay far away. And if she supers you then super away. It’s the Supers game.
Spike: He is quite a cheeky opponent. He can effectively poke around corners and also deal massive damage. It’s best to stay at long range where he can’t get you with his regular attack or super. If you are unfortunate enough to get caught in his super, then super away yourself.
Crow: His fast speed makes it very easy for him to dodge your attacks. Make sure to always stay very far away. If he is chasing one of your teammates then his movement pattern will become predictable and you can two-shot him and kill him or injure him enough for your teammate to take out.
Upgrade Priority:
Being a sniper, she’s very squishy even at max level. It’s best if you get all of her attack badges, pins and medals before buying any of her health pins. Her super is just used to escape and destroy obstacles so it is not a priority.
