Penny belongs to the Super Rare category, and unlocking her is a challenge itself; if you have already done it, lucky you!
She is one of the sharpshooter Brawl Stars characters who can deal damage even from a large distance, making it easy for her to secure a top position in the Brawl Stars tier list. However, she has medium health, so it is best to attack while taking cover, or else she won’t be able to stay in the game for long.
Dealing with Enemies
Main Attack – Plunderbuss
Penny carries a blunderbuss from which she shoots a medium-sized gold pouch to attack the enemies. Upon hitting, this pouch will spray three additional clumps of gold coins in a cone-shaped area behind the target that can travel for four tiles.
Thus, it attacks more opponents and deals the same amount of damage as the original gold pouch. In this way, Penny can double or triple her damage – but her attack has slow reload and unload speed and deals low damage.
Super – Old Lobber
Penny uses her Super to drop a cannon onto her enemies, dealing pretty great damage on them. She can throw this turret anywhere from a short distance; it is stationary and shoots cannonballs over obstacles dealing area damage to the opponents.
Although the firing range of the turret is extremely long, its slow firing rate and travel speed can let the enemies dodge the attacks easily. Therefore, you need to be careful while attacking with her Super.
The Gadgets to Keep an Eye On
- Pocket Detonator
This gadget kills three birds with one stone! First, it turns her cannon into a really dangerous weapon that damages the enemies, then it pushes them 2.67 tiles back and destroying all the walls and bushes around the area of effect. However, it can only be used if Penny has activated a cannon with a 12 tiles radius of her location.
- Captain’s Compass
When activated, Penny’s cannon can shoot a barrage of 5 cannonballs around her location. It makes an X-shaped strike with the center cannonball hitting last. While using this gadget, remember these three things.
- Keep Penny within 14 tiles radius of the activated cannon to activate this gadget.
- The balls of fire Star Power affect these cannonballs
- If Penny is defeated before the fifth cannonball is shot, the gadget will stop early
Star Powers Too Good To Miss
- Last Blast
When the cannon is replaced by another cannon or destroyed, it fires four cannonballs, each dealing damage of 1680 on the closest enemy who destroyed the cannon and the other enemies in range. The pocket detonator gadget can trigger this Star Power.
- Balls of Fire
When her cannonballs hit the enemy, it creates a burning effect that lasts for three seconds. The enemies standing in the burning area take 400 damage per second, making it a total of 1200 damage.
So this was it for the beginners guide for Penny Brawl Stars. She can be a great player when used right; therefore, we have covered all the major things about her in this post.
