It is now time for us to talk about the overall 3v3 tier list. Now, as a reminder, brawlers get points based off of what tier placement they get in all six of the 3v3 modes. Find out who are the brawlers that made it to S Tier Pro Tier Lists or the god tier and overall Brawl Stars Tier Lists.
Here is the hottest and the most recent Brawl Star Tier List for 2022!
Brawl Stars Tier List For Competitive Meta
This tier list was put together with the insight from other pro player collaborators and overall adjustments were made to how much each tier is worth.
B tier lists placements are still worth one point, A tier lists placements are now worth three points instead of two, and S tier lists placements are worth nine points instead of three.
This fighter may really only be average, but happens to be B tier lists in several of the game modes.
Brawl Tier List In a Nutshell
F Tier List Brawlers
Penny is now at the bottom of the tier lists for several reasons. The top reason is that her Super takes a long time to charge.
Sadly El Primo isn’t as good as he used to be. That’s why he is now among our least competitive tier list brawlers.
It’s hard to charge his Super because he has such a short range, even when you compare him to other tanks.
The only way to charge it without actually hitting a target is to get hit by an enemy, which is never good because that just ends up charging enemy Supers.
Mr. P is also going into the F tier list. Mr. P does have a good range, but he still struggles to charge his Super since most of his attacks only hit one time.
His porters are good at countering a few brawlers, but he doesn’t cause enough damage.
Although Lou can be a good tier list brawler, it is really hard to charge up his Super against a lot of the meta brawlers.
Brawl Star Tier List – C Tier Brawlers
These are brawlers who aren’t necessarily as bad as F tier list brawlers, but they are really not worth playing competitively.
Despite the recent buff to his Super, Carl’s attacks still seem to be a little too slow for how much damage it deals and it makes it very easy to approach and take him out.
Dynamike struggled more than any other brawler against the speed gears in this tier list. Dynamike just cannot hit somebody in the bushes when they’ve got level 3 Speed Gear.
Even a tier list level 1 does good job of countering Dynamike.
Shelly got a buff from F tier list not because she’s good but because some of the tanks are moving way up in the Meta. She’s probably the best counter pick against a tank but not useful in any other situation.
Squeak is good in controlling small areas but his attacks and Super are easy to avoid and they don’t deal enough damage to make him a big threat.
Bo does have good area control and he can deal a lot of damage if all of his arrows or all of his mines hit you. But it can be easy to avoid his arrows.
And if you know where his mines are placed, then they’re pretty much useless.
Colt does a lot of damage and he has a good range and could actually move up a one or two spot on the tier list if people practice with him.
But generally Colt’s attack is one of the hardest in the game to use most of the time. He’s really easy to counter, which is why he fits himself into the C tier list right now.
Unlike Colt, Nita’s attacks are very easy to use and can deal some decent damage to multiple targets.
Her bear can also cause big problems for a lot of brawlers, but it can be very difficult for her to charge up because of her short range.
Colette is also a really good counter against tanks, but she struggles against smaller tier list brawlers that have less HP and long range.
Her Super deals massive damage, but she’s vulnerable the whole time and it makes her an easy target.
Bull’s attacks don’t reach very far, but it deals so much damage up close that he can be a decent choice in Heist against the right tier list brawlers.
Ever since Ash stopped charging tons of Rage from taking damage, it’s been harder for him to get his Rage charged up. He is really scary if he has full Rage, but he’s not nearly as consistent as he used to be.
8-Bit obviously deals all lot of damage and he has very good range. However, he didn’t really get a lot of help from any of the new gears.
In fact, he got worse because a lot of the other brawlers benefit from gears while 8-Bit struggled against them now because of it.
B Tier Brawlers – Brawl Stars Tier Lists
B Tier brawlers are ones that have some competitive use on specific maps or specific game modes.
You will see them sometimes in competitive matches in tier list templates with the right teammates or to counter certain brawlers.
If the enemy team doesn’t have a counter to Barley, he’s actually insanely good. But because a lot of brawlers that have ability to counter him have been added to the game.
Bibi is a little bit better than the average tank because of her first star power that makes her faster than most brawlers.
Amber can be a decent counter against tanks. She can deal a lot of damage very quickly. However, keep in mind that she does get countered by long range, Meta brawlers.
So if the enemy team’s got like Belle, you probably shouldn’t be playing Amber. She also gets her Super countered by Poco, Byron or Pam who can heal their teammates before they die.
But if none of those brawlers are there to counter Amber, she is actually really good.
Tick is always going to be annoying and there are better options than him such as Grom or Sprout.
Jessie can potentially deal tons of damage with her attack if it bounces and she can deal tons of damage with her Super. She’s also great at countering brawlers that spawn things such as Pam or 8-Bit.
But she does get countered by brawlers who can easily take out her turret from a distance and other brawlers that can also get rid of a turret like Belle.
Gale may not be as good at countering tanks as Shelly, but he’s still a great counter for them.
And he’s also not so bad against the other meta brawlers. So he’s actually a little bit more of a safer choice than Shelly is.
Griff has one of the best Supers in the game. But just like Amber, he really struggles against those long range Meta brawlers like Spike.
He has a lot potential to do massive damage with his main attack but it can be very difficult to get all of his coins to hit from that distance.
Bea is very squishy, but she does have a long enough range to safely hit shots against most brawlers.
She’s not the best long range brawler, but she’s a good brawler to consider if the enemy team has both long range brawlers and tanks on their team.
Nani’s main attack is honestly really difficult to maximize damage with, but she has great range and her Super lets her safely take out squishy brawlers anywhere on the map.
This makes Nani an excellent choice on Bounty.
Colonel Ruffs does really well on maps with lots of walls. He is the best pick against Rico because his gadget allows him to counter Rico pretty well.
He doesn’t deal very much damage, but his Super is very powerful especially if Colonel Ruffs focuses on boosting his teammates instead of himself.
Because of Brock’s projectile speed made his shots way easier to avoid. So he got bumped down from last year’s list. He’s still good. Just not great.
Surge is a great brawler, but only on maps that allow him to charge up his Super early on in the match. His gadget does help him a lot with that, especially if he’s facing off against throwers.
Poco has got a lot of health and he is one of the easiest brawlers to use in the game. He’s definitely not a damage dealer.
So he is not the best choice if you’re dealing with tanks. But if the map is all about area control, you can actually get a lot of value out of him especially if you have tank teammate.
Emz is another really safe counter to tanks since her main attack deals massive damage. She also has some decent range.
She’s not very reliable on open maps where the enemy can outrange her or like split up. So she has to deal with you on a one-on-one basis.
Gene’s Super is probably always going to be useful. He can make or break Gem Grab matches. He doesn’t deal as much damage as he used to with his main attack.
Max’s super is very similar to Gene’s. It’s almost always going to be useful and she’s already one of the fastest brawlers in the game.
She can be in the A Tier but the Speed Gear has allowed all other brawlers to keep up with her boosted speed a bit.
Fang is good, but not as much in competitive matches. It’s difficult charge up his Super.
And even after he does have his super charged, it can be really risky to use it if you can’t take out all of his enemies in one flow because he will very likely run out of ammo.
A Tier Brawlers
These are brawlers that are very good for the competitive meta in a lot of maps and on a lot of game modes.
You’ll see a lot of them in competitive matches, but they’re not as overwhelmingly strong as the S Tier brawlers or god tier brawlers.
Frank is the tankiest brawler in the game. He also has the furthest range out of all of the tanks.
And he has a devastating Super but he does have that drawback of that delay with his attack and his super, and he can be countered by a lot of brawlers.
Crow is not only a great counter pick against tanks, but he also counters healers.
He is a great choice because of his ability to slow an entire enemy team for five seconds.
Piper is one of the most solid picks for the long range matches because she shoots really far and deals damage at max range.
Her Super also gets her out of really sticky situation. So she’s really good for holding large bounties and lots of gems.
Mortis had some really great buffs recently and now gears have helped him out a lot.
He is great against throwers and also against those squishy brawlers, since he can dodge very well and defeat most of them within his first three dashes. He takes a little skill to play like a lot of brawlers do.
Byron another amazing brawler. On top of having one of the longest ranges in the game, he can heal his teammates and himself with his gadget. His super also makes him a really good counter against tanks.
Not a lot of brawlers can outrange Belle. Her attack deals a good amount of damage, no matter how far away she is from her enemies.
She forces enemies to stay spread out which makes her pretty good in Heist.
Sprout is arguably the second best brawler.
Lola is very strong brawler. The damage she deals with her Super is still really crazy and is definitely worth using it when she has that shade right next to her.
Pam is a lot of help. Her super keeps herself and teammates alive. She can do a lot of damage up close and she can prevent healing from a fairly long range.
Pam is well-rounded and you can play her in any of the game modes.
Tara’s Super is so much of a game changer that the A Tier fits her pretty well right now. Especially if you play her in Gem Grab, Brawl Ball or even Hot Zone.
Stu deals a lot of burst damage from a pretty good distance. And he’s actually one of the most evasive brawler in the game. He takes a bit of skill to use, but he is very unpredictable to the enemy team.
Nobody shuts down a narrow pathway better than Rico. He’s got great star powers and his Bouncy Castle Gadget is easily one of the best gadgets in the game right now.
Leon’s gadget is another very strong one. His entire team has a huge advantage for however long it remains on the map. His super, is also really great for sneaking up on those squishy brawlers.
Buzz has everything that a good assassin needs, a strong attack, lots of health, a quick way to travel long distances and the ability for him to charge up his super without actually having to hit a brawler.
Sandy recently had a nerf to his super charge rate and it’s honestly the only thing, keeping him out of the S Tier.
He’s not as good as he used to be, but he is still very good. He benefits a lot from the speed gear and his super is still one of the best in the game.
S Tier is the Brawl Stars god tier
This is the ultimate tier list. Also known as the god tier. These brawlers are the best of the best and are particularly strong right now, pretty much on any map or game mode
A recent buff to his steel hoops star power allows Darryl to keep a weak shield for a few seconds after using his super.
With this shield, there are not very many one to one situations where Daryl isn’t going to win against other characters on some tier list.
Speed gear has probably helped Rosa more than any other brawler in the game, because it’s all about being in the bush.
And the bush is where Rosa thrives. Most brawlers can’t even escape after entering Rosa’s range. And now that she can be even faster than any brawler, she is very hard to avoid.
Spike can counter really strong tanks like Darryl and Rosa. He can also counter throwers thanks to his super.
He does a lot of damage against a lot of long range brawlers. He’s one of the best counters to the most meta brawlers right now, which is what makes him so good.
Meg is another brawler that can charge super up quickly because of how fast her projectiles are and the fact that they reach long range.
And after she gets that first supercharge, the rest of the match is going to be an uphill struggle for the enemy team because she’s so strong.
Grom is just too strong right now. He’s an insane long range brawler. He’s an insane damage dealer. He’s an insane thrower. It’s extremely difficult to dodge his attacks.
Tier Lists Makers
It’s helpful to keep track of your own tier lists and use a Brawl Stars tier list maker to rank where you see each brawler.
Sites like Tiermaker allow you to create multiple of your own tier lists for free.
1. Choose your tier list maker
2. Select a current tier list template
3. Choose your character
4. Compare and contrast characters to determine tier placements
5. Arrange the characters in order from higher tiered characters to brawlers on low tiers
6. Publish your brawlstar tier lists for others to see!
It’s important to note that in step two, you select tier lists templates with the most up-to-date list of characters that you want to make tier lists for.
Otherwise, if a new Brawl Star character was released and you don’t have it on your template then you will not be able to rank that brawler on tier lists.
Brawlers on low tiers to higher tiered characters
You can take a look at different tier lists and see how other players rank characters. It is useful to see which brawlers other players place on low tiers to those higher tiered characters.
You’ll note that there won’t be an across the board consensus of the different tier lists.
This is because factors like a players experience and game philosophy play a role in which brawlers get placed on low tiers or brawlers who are considered higher tiered.
Regardless of where your favorite brawler gets placed on different versions of tier lists, when you create tier lists your “vote” gets compiled into the master list.
However, the tier lists sourced by the crowd can give you some useful insights on characters, especially newer brawlers that you have not played before.
However, the tier lists you make are personal to you and you can actually even personalize them by adding animated stickers or graphics.
Create a few different versions of tier lists so that you can compare and contrast your rankings between brawlers in various game modes.
You can start with a high level view of all characters, then break that tier list down so that it factors in brawler characteristics like damage, health, etc.
High level Tier Lists
Every brawler that you have played can be ranked and those that you have not will be kept high level until you get first hand experience.
For obvious reasons, the challenge with wanting to only create tier lists that rank brawlers with which you have played means that you actually would have had to devote the time, energy, and money to actually play each character.
What about the other characters that you have not played?
Considering that some fighters are super rare brawlers or what about when new characters are introduced, the likelihood of you being able to accomplish a detailed tier list is extremely low.
So, as you can see, there is nothing wrong with creating high level tier lists.
It’s perfectly okay to create multiple tier list and ranking lists that are informed by your research and play experience.
You can still create different versions of your tier lists to distinguish between researched tier lists and actual-play or experience ranking lists.
How the Brawl Stars Tier List evolved from previous years.
Now, interestingly enough, Shelly has actually been in dead last for the tier list for the past 15 months.
Now in the A tier list, you’ll notice both Brock andCarl who were previously at the top of the last tier list. And then you’ll also notice Mortis, who’s gone up into the A tier list with his increased viability in three modes.
Which character is on top?
At the very top of the S tier list is Colt, who is listed on the S-tier ranking system for five of the six 3v3 modes. Following him is Byron who was S tier list for four of the 3v3 modes.
Next, we have 8-Bit who got a huge buff too on the Brawl.stars tier list, and really made him a lot more viable and Edgar who is viable in, well, every game mode.
B also went up in quite a few modes since her gadget was neglected in the previous S tier list.
And despite both Max and Spike decreasing their Brawl stars tierlist in three games modes, they are still barely within the S tier list ranking system.
Brawl Stars Tier List Compared To League of Legends Tier List
When it comes to the Brawl Stars Tier List ranking system, there are a few different opinions on which characters are the best.
Depending on the Brawlstars tierlist you view, some people believe that Shelly is the best character, while others believe that Piper is the best.
However, when compared to League of Legends, the League of Legends Tier List is much more accurate.
League of Legends has characters that are clearly better than other characters. For example, Master Yi is much better than Ashe.
Which Tier List Characters Are Best?
In League of Legends, you want to try and pick a tier list character that is in a higher tier list ranking system so that you can win more easily.
Characters in lower tier lists tend to have a harder time winning against those in higher tier lists. It’s important to note that League of Legends is not made by Supercell.
Since it is another popular multiplayer battle game, it’s worth pointing out how the LoL tier list is structured.
This is some fun insight for Brawl Stars players as they navigate the Brawl Stars tier list.

With high tier list characters like Lee Sin, Miss Fortune, and Master Yi there are a number of tier list champions, as they are called, in LoL that have abilities that allow them to easily take down enemies.
They are among the characters in the ranking system on the ultimate tier list because they have solid ability on the battlefield.
Some of the best champions have long run success because they can create consistent damage and have ultimate first tier list strength.
Their effectiveness makes it much harder to shut down assets such as mobility.
The tier list characters that give better results can be used in the majority of matchups and enemy team compositions. Some examples are Miss Fortune, Master Yi, Lee Sin, Jarvan IV, and Aurelion Sol.
The Brawl Stars Tier List April 2022 has seen some big changes. The biggest change was the removal of Jess from the top tiers, and the addition of Colt.
Jess had been in the top tiers for a long time, but her low damage and lack of crowd control led to her being removed from the Braw Stars Tier List.
Colt is a new brawler who has quickly gained popularity due to his high damage and ability to control the battlefield.
